Paper is often perceived as fragile—temporary, easily erased, easily replaced. Yet it is precisely through this vulnerability that paper becomes one of the most enduring witnesses of human thought, labor, memory, and belief. Long before monuments were erected, ideas were first drawn, written, folded, and marked on paper.
